No-kill status is achievable, it’s a matter of responsible pet ownership. There is really no excuse not to spay or neuter your pet.

Maddie
June 17, 2019Maddie was a very sweet and lovable bully girl who blended in well with her foster family. She began to lose weight and her “mom” took her to the vet but he found nothing alarming. Just a short while later Maddie seemed to be getting worse and on examination she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. We were heartbroken but made the humane decision to end her suffering. Maddie was between 5-6 years old, spayed, vaccinated, and housebroken. She did very well with all her pack but certainly had her favorites. Rest in peace, sweet girl, you will be missed.
